October 3: Who wins the battle of the clubs?
Flexx, Testosteron and Labyrinth started their parties yesterday night.
Flexx @ Loop38:
We stayed at the Flexx-Party at club Loop38 and faced many clubbers we knew from the good old Labyrinth parties. DJs Ajaxx and Steven Redant (LaDemence) enthused the party crowd with a great and more melodic sound. And what a surprise: There was also a darkroom at Loop38 for all who got horny last night. When in the morning people ran out of energy (there is almost no chemical support available in Zurich these days) the hosts came up with free ice cream, coffee and croissants to power up the clubbers. That's the great service we love!
Testosteron @ Lotus:
After 2 a.m. the first people came over from Testosteron to Flexx. They told us about great sound from DJ massivan (Ibiza, ex. Laby) but the crowd at Testosteron was more into sex than into dancing. So the best DJ could not hold the leather guys on the dancefloor, and at 2 a.m. almost everybody had left the floor to catch a dick in the dark maze upstairs.
Labyrinth @ Zodiac:
When the first gays came from Zodiac to Loop we asked them about the new venue of Labyrinth in the old town. They told us a little disappointed about a tube like celler that feels more like pub than like a club. The sound at Zodiac was still great but instead of the good old Laby family, there were mostly people from the street fillig the Zodiac club.
Rightfully I have to mention that the information we got about Labyrinth and Testosteron came only from people who left these parties because they didn't like'em. There might be other guys who think different of these events and we would appreciate their opinions as comments to this article. Please click "Answer" to write your comment.
