The latest changes in Zurichs clubs

After a crazy spring time and summer where clubs and darkrooms were closed and finally reopened, we got some other changes. That's today's situation:

JIM - the fantastic queer club
These parties take place once a month in the famous Kaufleuten-Saal. For all who like glamour, a red carpet, drag queens and house music and who don't mind to keep their shirt on. Related party labels are Rudeboiz and Boyahkasha

Treibstoff
This is the new name of the Sunday night event at Labor Bar that was previosly called Sunday Trash and hosted by Tara LaTrash. The new host wears a baseball cap and the new music style goes from house and pop till hip hop and r'n'b.

EmoTTion
Johann is back after he finished his parties at Lotus (ex Labyrinth). The new parties will take place in Labitzke. The right place if you like an industrial atmosphere with progressive trance, sweaty bodies and a darkroom.

Shaft
That's the traditional men-only party every first Saturday a month at Labitzke. Great men, great sound from progressive till trance, a sexy atmosphere and no girls at all.

Loop38
A smaller but a nice club in the same building as Labitzke features different party labels (e.g. Gotterbote who used to organise parties together with Johann at Lotus). Loop38 has a dancefloor, a bar and a chillout corner but no darkroom.

T&M and Aaah
Since 20 years the T&M is the traditional gay place in the center of the old town with pop music and many teens who just started their gay carreer. Aaah is the club on the second floor with a small dancefloor a bar and a big cruising labyrinth. Sound from electro to oldies. Open all days.

Rage
The Rage is a big industrial sex and fetish club on 3 floors outside of town. There is a small dancefloor but the main reason to go there is not to dance.

Angels
The big White- and Black Party every year takes place at Volkshaus.
